秘修斌，笔名墨丹，号野草堂居士，生于西安，祖籍河北故城，现居北京。中国书法#国画艺术研究院副院长、中国艺术家学部委员会理事、中国名家收藏专业委员会常务理事、 美国全美画会荣誉会员、中国政协委员、 国家一级画师、 职业画家。
六岁受家庭启蒙开始学画，主攻动物，兼工翎毛、花卉。至今五十多个春秋，清贫艰辛地笔耕于砚池，未敢有丝毫怠懈。八十到九十年代受国家派遣随团出访美、英、法、德、日、加、泰、西、比等十七个国家作国画讲学和文化交流活动达十多年之久。作品被世界艺术殿堂“美国汉廷顿艺术博物馆”、“南加州艺术博物馆”、“泰王国博物馆”、“圣地亚哥博物馆”、“西班牙博物馆”、“日本嘉靖博物馆”、“加州橙县博物馆”、“天安门”、“毛主席纪念堂”、“中南海”等世界各国六十多家大型博物馆（会）收藏。“世界日报”、“中华日报”、“人民日报”、“侨报”、“国际日报”、“中国政协报”、“光明日报”、“中央电视台”、“泰国电视台”、“广东电视台”、“温州电视台”等国内外千余家新闻媒体对他做大篇幅的报道给予了很高的评价。一九九五年回国后居家北京，职业画家，其绘画题材极为广泛，可画近百余种动物以及翎毛、花卉。作品寓意深刻，耐人寻味，笔墨含蓄简练惜墨如金，画面大气恢弘清新淡雅被誉为“灵象画师”。作品“奋追”一九九一年获中国共产党七十周年全国书法#国画大展“金奖”；作品“振翅九万里”一九九八年获中国工农红军长征东渡六十周年全国书法#国画大展“金奖；作品“难得知己”一九九九年获第五届国际书法#国画大展“金奖”；作品“直达彼岸”获纪念****诞辰一百周年国际书法#国画名家作品展“特别荣誉奖”；二零零八年一月获2007和谐中国年度荣誉奖，参与了21世纪国家书法#国画艺术研讨会及香港与澳门回归的书法#国画活动和展览，并先后在国内外举办个人画展三十余次。出版有：秘修斌画集、中国名人画库秘修斌画集、中国当代著名画家秘修斌动物画集、国画技法丛书秘修斌彩墨动物画法、秘修斌怎样画动物、中国当代书法#国画名家邮折、国画技法丛书秘修斌彩墨花卉画法等。
Mr. Mi Siubin & His PaintingMr. Mi Siubin, born in Xian, is a national first-class painter.
